At The Mid-York Press, we strive to provide the best packaging services and pride ourselves in transparently working with customers. How many colors can be printed in one pass?

For Offset we print up to 6 colors with 1 coating. 

Digitally, we print with 4 color process.

What types of stock can be used in a print run?

On a regular basis we offer SBS 1 & 2 side coated, Metsa FBB, Coated Recycled Board (CRB), text and cover stocks (coated and uncoated), as well as poly board.

What is the thickest board stock that can be printed on?
  • Offset press: 30pt. stock
  • Digital press: 24pt. stock
What is the maximum sheet size that can be printed on?
  • Offset press: 28″ x 40″
  • Digital press: 13” x 25"
Can a job be printed and held?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to do so at this time.

How many MYP locations are there? And, where are they located?

There are two campuses, both located in Sherburne, NY. Our physical locations are:

How many employees does MYP have?

On average, we employ approximately 65 people.

How many sq. ft. is the MYP facility?

Our facility is 60,000 Sq. ft. in size, encompassing two campuses.

Are there minimum quantities when placing an order?

We have no minimums.

Are there limits on quantities ordered?

We have no minimums

What type of coatings does The Mid-York Press offer?

The Mid-York Press has the capability to apply most coatings.  We will verify our capability at the time of order.

Are the coatings used environmentally friendly?

Yes, the coatings offered at The Mid-York Press, Inc. are environmentally friendly, as they are primarily water-based.

Is there a color variance between digital and offset presses? If so, how much of a variance?

Our offset presses can match any PMS color. We have an in-house ink blending system to ensure that.

Our digital press can match most PMS colors with 4 color process color mixtures., The ability to match will be approved by the customer prior to printing. 

What type of customers print at The Mid-York Press?
