The Quality Assurance (QA) Department at The Mid-York Press, Inc. is dedicated to delivering assistance, guidance, and leadership across all quality control and assurance functions. Our ultimate goal is to achieve a competitive advantage by consistently providing products that meet or exceed all defined quality standards.
Strategies for Excellence
To fulfill our mission, we employ the following strategies:
- Identifying and coordinating process improvements to simplify workflows, reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and minimize error opportunities
- Staying informed of internal and external factors that could impact product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring compliance with established systems, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and customer specifications, and recommending continuous improvement processes when new efficiencies are found.
- Developing documentation, such as process flows, work instructions, bulletins, and procedures, to reinforce good business and quality practices.
- Recommending, evaluating, and implementing upgrades and installations of manufacturing technology.
- Quality built into the entire production flow, from receiving to shipping.

To ensure superior quality in every project, we leverage advanced technology, including the Global Vision R44 Print Inspection System, for precise, reliable results. Matching customer approved specs, to the production run.
Our manufacturing machinery contains built-in technology to ensure the highest quality during production runs. Our equipment contains artificial intelligence that allows computers and trained professionals to work seamlessly for the highest productivity and highest quality in the industry. This aids the shop floor and QA personnel in providing the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries the quality needed to ensure cGMP standards.
